Feelings of sadness, loss of interest in activities you love, low energy, irritability and being socially withdrawn are just some of the signs of depression. I work with and support individuals to help them process their emotions and find ways to better their lives while living with depression. Clients will learn coping techniques to help manage their current state.
Anxiety can be a common occurrence in life. When anxiety gets in the way of your regular life functions, then it is no longer helpful. Many people live rewarding lives with anxiety; through counselling, learn strategies and coping skills to help manage your experiences of anxiety.
The effects of trauma can present itself in many ways. Circumstances typically involve shock, loss of control, denial, anger, confusion, difficulty concentrating and hopelessness, to name a few. If you have experienced a traumatic event and are feeling overwhelmed by it, counselling can offer coping skills and help you work through your emotions to ease the experience.
Grief and Loss
Everyone experiences grief and loss at some point in their lives. Sometimes dealt with quickly, but other times it can go on for months and at times, years. I provide a safe and supportive environment to help you work through the grieving process and move towards a resolution of your grief.
No matter what you are going through, whether it's a career transition or a location change, counselling can provide an unbiased perspective and a safe place to discuss the options and solutions for issues you are dealing with.

Payment is required at the beginning of each counselling session by debit, e-transfer, or cash. Skype and FaceTime sessions require payment 24 hours before the appointment by e-transfer.
